And this is Mr. and Mrs. Freak’s little girl. I wanted to give them a Teenage son as well, but haven’t gotten round to drawing him yet. Maybe someday.

After having seen my 25 essential expressions sheet, someone suggested there should be a Mrs. Freak for Mr. Freak to flirt with. So here she is.
Anyone else think, she kinda looks like an AU version of Vicky Pollard?

After I had created Mr. Freak, my best friend suggested I do the 25 essential expressions challenge with him. Considering I normally just scribble and never bother having one character express different feelings and actually live through some kind of story, I am really pleased with this. I used the shoulders to emphasize some expressions and the only one I couldn’t get a satisfying result for, is the blank stare. That’s probably because of Mr. Freak’s missing eyelids, and his one eye being bigger than the other, which gives him an instant non-blank stare.
This just happened o_o
Thank you, everyone (even though you’re probably not going to read this). I certainly wasn’t expecting that, when I logged on today :)

This one was inspired by a Buffy-fanvideo, set to the song “The hat I got for christmas is too big”. I can’t find it anymore, so feel free to add a link in case it’s still uploaded somewhere.
Basically the video showed just about every character of the show wearing some kind of hat or other. Oz, Tara, Faith and Angel apparently never wore hats and Anya has curlers on her head instead. As you might guess from the banner that I put in the picture, this was another birthdaypresent for my best friend (who’s nickname btw is Willow, which is why Willow is always smiling so hard in those paintings xD)
There are a few anatomical weirdnesses going on with Xander and that tree is very crude, but apart from that I like this one a lot. It took me quite a while to finish, but I also had a lot of fun making it.

This one I made for another friend, who’s nickname is Vincent. Go figure ;)
I think this is the best of the bunch, when it comes to shading. Obviously that’s what I put the most effort in as well in this one. As you can see I didn’t pay a lot of attention to smaller details, like for example the gun. It doesn’t even have a trigger. Also Jules’ goatee looks a bit weird as well. But apart from that I am quite proud of what I did there.

Giles. I like the receding hairline, but I should have made the wrinkles more clear, because now he looks a lot younger than he is. In case you wonder why Giles isn’t a chibi: I don’t know either. It just felt right, making him look like this. Maybe, someday, if I ever feel like making another Buffyverse-painting, I’ll make a chibi-version of him, wrinkles and all.
This one’s from Fight Club. Made for a friend who’s nickname is Marla, so yeah.
What I like most about this, though, is how both Jack and Tyler look, when ripped apart and put together again as complete people by flipping the existing parts of the picture vertically.

Tyler looks really mean, even his “nose” is curved the right way. Same goes for Jack, who looks totally friendly.
